University of Applied Arts Vienna
"TransArts" website
The University of Applied Arts purposefully pushes the envelope with its “TransArts" bachelor and
master’s degree courses.
TransArts is an art course whose educational content and form reflect the dynamics in the arts
today. It teaches unity and diversity in theory and practice and recognizes not least the mutually reinforcing and competitive
interdependency of different artistic disciplines.
Together with the graphic artist Rainer Dempf, checkpointmedia is
breaking new ground with the new TransArts website. The site is graphically reduced and pared down to essentials, maximising
the impact of the visual content.
The site content is clearly structured so that key information about the course
is easy to find, with highlights from students’ projects being presented in the form ofa gallery. In addition, an integrated
automatic scheduler controls the timetable of events shown on the start page.
A special database link has also been programmed
for the administration of activities, visitors and students.
