A multimedia look into the future of firefighting 2022
At Interschutz (20 to 25 June 2022 in Hanover), the most important trade fair in the world of firefighting, the world's largest
supplier of firefighting equipment presented a complete range of products and services and, in particular, demonstrated its
systems expertise in the key issues of the future.
In 2020 the DomQuartier focuses on Salzburg’s great musical tradition, which is
inseparably bound up with the history and the various rooms in the Residenz and the Cathedral precinct, as well as with Heinrich
Ignaz Franz Biber, Georg Muffat, Antonio Caldara, Leopold and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Michael Haydn – long before the
inauguration of the Salzburg Festival.
Conception and implementation of the exhibition content 2019
The Bad Schönau spa community built the "Sconarium" for 2.8 million euros, a modern visitor and event centre dedicated entirely
to the subject of therapy and natural carbon dioxide gas. The company Handler Bau with its project partners Atelier Mauch
and checkpointmedia was commissioned to build and implement the sconarium following a call for tenders.

aged 4 and above to the 500m2 interactive multimedia world "The Alice fairytale" in WIEN MITTE - The Mall.

Rube Goldberg machine is a deliberately complex contraption in which a series of devices that perform simple tasks are linked
together to produce a domino effect in which activating one device triggers the next device in the sequence. The expression
is named after American cartoonist and inventor of such contraptions, Rube Goldberg.
Co-design of the exhibition about the Trapp family 2018
The exhibition
is devoted to three major thematic blocks – the family history, the history of Villa Trapp, which was used by Heinrich Himmler
as "Feldkommandostelle Bergwald", among others, and a confrontation between film and reality.
The anniversary exhibition was presented at the Ministry of Economics in Vienna 2017
The anniversary exhibition "70 Years of the Marshall Plan", which was shown for the first time as part of a major event in
June 2017, is going on tour: in October and November 2017 the exhibition dedicated to the story of the European Recovery Program
was presented at the Ministry of Economics in Vienna.

Bankhaus Spängler,
founded in 1828 and still family-owned, is an independent private bank with its head office in Salzburg and branches in ten
other locations. checkpointmedia developed the prototype for an innovative display window for the historic headquarters in
Schwarzstraße, Salzburg.

“70 projections
for 70 years”: Under the artistic direction of Virgil Widrich, a multi-disciplinary team designed the event and a partly interactive
travelling exhibition for the Austria Wirtschaftsservice Gesellschaft mbH (ERP Fund).

On 21/6/2017
the ceremony marking 70 years of the Marshall Plan took place at METAStadt Wien with addresses by Austrian President Alexander
Van der Bellen, Vice-Chancellor Wolfgang Brandstetter and Chargé d’Affaires a.i. at the US Embassy in Vienna Eugene S. Young.
Following construction
work lasting two and a half years, the new giraffe park in the historic centre of Schönbrunn Zoo opened on 10 May 2017. checkpointmedia
devised and produced the enclosure’s GirApp, an interactive media station for children and teenagers.
checkpointmedia is responsible
for the multimedia installations and the graphic display of information for the new Meteorite Gallery of the Natural History
Museum Vienna.
checkpointmedia develops several items of
lounge furniture for the Wiener Stadtwerke entrance hall; these also function as exhibits and information carriers and together
form a corporate museum.
Concept for the new installation of the Meteorite Gallery 2011
For the new installation of the Meteorite Gallery, a concept was developed in partnership with Arno Grünberger/spurwien
to devise a modern method of knowledge transfer that sensitively combines the existing architecture with multimedia elements
and exhibits.
In
2010, the Salzburg Festival celebrated its 90th anniversary. A traditional style exhibition with panels, objects and models
seemed inadequate for presenting the sheer variety of artistic brilliance. Consequently, the displays and texts were "fanned
out" to reflect the scope of the Festival's history.
The media sculpture "Energiehaushalt"
(Energy Management) is a column, four metres high and half a metre wide, displaying the office building's daily energy production
and consumption processes. Entries are continuously supplied by the building's smart-metering system.
checkpointmedia equips Empress Maria
Theresia's baroque state rooms and the Imperial Apartments with unobtrusive media installations that describe the history,
uses and renovation of the Palace using historical and current images.
In 2010 the Salzburg Festival celebrated
its 90th anniversary. To mark the occasion, checkpointmedia designed and put together the main exhibition in Salzburg Museum’s
Kunsthalle.
A mirrored showcase with a monitor
is installed by checkpointmedia in the foyer of the Vienna Konzerthaus. The showcase informs visitors, in an innovative and
very impressive way, about the wide variety of events that can be staged in the concert rooms.
